A study of AGN jet from dwarf galaxies through hydrodynamic simulations

Recent studies show that AGNs can be powered by IMBHs in low-mass galaxies and impact the evolutions of their hosts. However, observational examples are scant and few cases of radio-jet in dwarf galaxies have been detected. We would like to use the hydrodynamics simulation code FLASH to examine the formation and evolution of the AGN jet and study the properties and morphology in a low-mass environment (shallow gravitational well) and weak power, compared with normal galaxies.
