It is widely accepted that Type Ia supernovae are thermonuclear explosions of carbon-oxygen white dwarfs in binary systems. However, the exact evolutionary scenarios remain unclear. In this project, we reimplement the optically thick wind model into the open-source code MESA (Modules for Experiments in Stellar Astrophysics). Our preliminary results show consistent evolution histories for binary systems with a red giant companion. Improvement for main-sequence companion channels and peculiar supernova channels are in progress.
